deathbed
Maybe I'm already on my deathbed. Who knows if I'll take one last shower to stop breathing. If I plan it, it won't happen, but if I let my impulses guide me, my time will be approaching. One last breath. One last word. One last look. Feeling my eyes close, knowing they'll never open again. Being aware of the last conversation I had with each person I love. Feeling guilty for causing other people's pain, but unable to bear my own anymore. Sweet dreams, peaceful journey. One last journey. So much left to visit. So much to explore. So much to live for. But my energy is already spent. My journey is over.
