Death is nothing.
I'll be gone tonight, I'll take my life the way I have always dreamed, And it'll be peaceful. The knife will be sharp, The gun will be loaded, And the rope will be tied. The letters have been written, The calls have been made, And the rooms have been cleaned. Not a dish in sight, Not a pant on the ground, Spotless as i found it, It will be spotless when I leave it. I know it is selfish, And I know it's not my time, But the world will go on and on and on, And my life will be remembered by my kin. When I go, the air will still and falter, And return to its natural state shortly after. Death is nothing to me, just another milestone in life. My pilgrimage is done, I'll be to my father now.
