Death comes for our Souls
In day or night, Death soon takes its flight, When the clock ticks and ends our earthly rite. No joy can stay, for Death knows no delay, With each heartbeat, it draws closer, they say. As we traverse life's path, the clock counts on, Ticking away, until our last breath is gone. Whispers of mortality, a fact we can't ignore, The illusion of eternity, shattered to the core. In the depths of darkness, where shadows creep, Death comes for all souls, whether awake or asleep. No distinction it makes, be it rich or poor, Death claims its prize, knocking at every door. From cradle to grave, a cycle complete, The clock's ticking beat, our lives must meet. A final act, where all players must adhere, Death unites us all, erasing fear and tear. No escaping its grasp, fate's inevitable hand, Leads us towards eternity's mysterious strand. So let us embrace the ticking of time's clock, For each passing moment, a precious gem we unlock.
