Death
Some say death is forever, but I disagree, Death is just a means of goodbye, and goodbyes aren't forever. You will see them again someday, in another life, an afterlife, or 2. Death is just over the horizon, that land over the rainbow, beyond the sight of the human eye. Dogs and cats can see death, they can see those who’ve joined death. Death does not mean to take the people or pets we love, Death is just receiving gifts that life created just for Him. Some people hate death, some fear it, then there are those few, like me, who can’t help but not fear it, but instead love it, see it as a means of freedom, then they test Death, they test it and test it over and over, to see what the limit is before they themselves join Him as the others have. I was once told that it rains when Death feels sorrowful for taking a loved one, it rains and rains for days, sometimes weeks. When I go to join Death, I hope it rains the day of my funeral, I love the rain. And I hope it rains for months after I join the rest of them, I hope the people I love and used to be around, learn to find me in the Rain, find me in the glittering ocean at night with the moon and the stars, find me in the thunder and the lightning.
