Death
death has to be the hardest pill to swallow to just allow yourself to forgive and forget , that god took the life and soul out of your loved one. to be forced to grieve and feel lost for however long we release the breaths of our sorrow in deep stretches, staring into the ceiling, deeper than the faded light in their eyes. deeper than the holes in our heart I cannot seem to bear or grasp the concept of how easy but utterly painful it is to lose a life so gracious and pure regardless of scars, just gone within seconds sometimes no goodbye, and almost always not enough time. teaching me to believe that this is for the better of the suffering they would endure but the only thing I've learned is we make excuses, putting our strongest effort into understanding why their heart beat ceases.
