Dear Mr. President
In 2015 you answered the call to lead a nation, Taking an oath and giving your finest presentation, I can imagine it wasn't easy Because the game of politics can be sleazy. You took upon yourself the most prominent mantle, Your accolades, experience, skills and charm prepared you for battle, With your faith you remained thankful to your Father in heaven in chapel. Dear Mr President we are truly proud that despite the challenges you faced throughout, From fuel prices increasing to an epidemic not ceasing, You remained constant and fierce, Your confidence and care was like a victory song to our ears. Mr President your death came shockingly unexpected, Because all over Namibia you are indeed respected. To many you are a national hero and treasure, Our country's growth to success because of you is due in no small measure. We are saddened by your sudden demise, It is evident as it has been nationally publicized, But as a nation we build on your legacy, leadership and hope, That surely will help us to cope. Thank you dear Mr President for your unwavering service, May your spirit dwell in peace and your footprints be embedded in the oil and soil Of Namibia a place you called home where you were never alone. ~SL
