Dear Mom.
Our mirrors are shattered who's broke first I will never know but I let my pieces fall to catch hold of yours trying to repair them through my gushing blood but you wouldn't stop pushing me away throwing pieces at my hair that could never be yours somehow you cry saying I'm the one to blame no time for tears distracting me from my purpose born to care for you so I could try to be yours I lost my pieces long ago through the storms but the glass shards you need I kept to my heart it stings but it's the only possession I have that's yours but these peices are getting smaller and smaller sinking deep through my skin you never held I finally stop the denial and admit I'll never be yours through your taunting i'm dropping the shards we may both be broken into eternity but your shattered mirror will never become mine.
