~DEAR MIND~ Dear mind please be my guide Be my guide when my heart fails me Be my potency when my heart weakens Be my solace when my heart breaks Be my starting point when my heart ceases Be wicked and evil when my heart is kind and soft But above all please be the dictator of my heart Dear Mind please be my guide Be my guide when my heart foolishly trusts And when they betray thy heart in wreck Be strong and resilient when my heart is brittle and fragile Be engrossed and unwavering when my heart is irresolute and humourious But above all please be a totalitarian to my heart And to you Dear Heart Please be submissive and docile when the mind rules Don't be a nark or a nuisance when the mind takes total control Because as it is you're brittle and friable You belittle yourself hence they've toyed you around But above all you're foolish because when they break you, you attack me instead... So fo a change Dear Heart please take a seat And let the mind be behind wheels A coup d'etat is underway I now coronate the Mind as the new President of my body and soul
