Dear love
Dear love, once a golden touch, now a curse, You were my universe, a verse to every beat Of my heart π«, a birth of the new start. And I, a desperate miner, dug deeper, Hoping to unearth salvation. But the deeper I fell, the darker it grew, Each shovelful of earth, became confession, To each hope, a shard of my soul, The story left untold, I became stoned, High from smoke, lull I became, low I became. I wandered your heart, A lost traveler in a maze, Your touch, both calming and deceiving, "Diseaseing" me with disease, Turning my veins to lead, my pulse to dust, And I, the fool, kept digging. Was it love or madness that drove me? Your whispers, sweet poison in my ears, Promises unrevealing truth, you always keep Me in the loop how cute you were, looking all So innocent like a sweet fruit, but it's painful how you distance you were but finally, I stumbled upon the truth: You were the riddle I couldn't solve, The paradox that consumed reason, And I, the broken compass, lost. So here I stand, love, a masterpiece of chaos. Dear love, how beautifully you destroyed me. π₯ Written by Thabang.R
