Dear little me
I know I'm not able to go back in time to see little me but if I could I would. She needed me when she was on her knees crying and hiding. She needed me when she was pleading and staring at the ceiling. She needed me on those nights where mum and dad yelled at each other. She needed to protect herself along with with her little siblings. She is the oldest and she knew that she still does. I hope she knows that she didn't have to give up her emotions and her mental health to take care of her siblings. I wish I could tell her that she is loved and hug her letting her cry all her worries out and scream all her anger out. She deserved to be loved but now its too late she gave up everything and now nothing is left... A poem by Natalie Tueur
