Dear God
Dear God, I fall upon my knees tonight My hands are worn, my spirit’s lost its light Am I not man enough? The question burns so deep Through every sleepless hour, every silent weep Life has weighed so heavy, pressed upon my soul Each step a battle, each day takes its toll I try with all I have ,with every breath I draw Yet doubt wraps ‘round my heart like thorns in straw I know my flaws are many, see them clear as day Do they make me less than? Push Your love away? Am I not worth it? The words cut sharp and cold Where did I turn aside? Where did my path grow old? I try, wani, I try with all my might Still struggle through the darkness and the fight Oh God, please show me ,what have I done wrong? Why does this road feel endless, stretched so long?
