Dear God
I was just a small soul in their eyes But in you I saw myself as a butterfly That didn't need others to tell it It's beautiful because it is God before you watered my thirsty eyes I had given up, I lost faith, I lost direction They managed to cut my wings while I was still learning how to fly I lived in a world gone blind But then one day a wise man said to me Sometimes we cry a lot to a point where we don't see what God has blessed us with I had no strength nor did I believe but I still nailed down And prayed for strength and wings from The the one who died for my sins Without you I'm as useless as Well , nothing because there's nothing that is Useless in your eyes So why have wings as a butterfly But still wait for a tortoise to tell you how to fly
