Dear Death
Who are you, Death? Are you the angel I've been looking for? Or the monster I've been running from? Do you wear a black cloak? Or do you have pretty wings? Will you offer me an eternity of torment? Or make me see angelic things? Will you take me to my final destination? Where can I rest in peace? Or will I end up in a void? And will I always live like this? Is there any light behind you? Or is it just the darkness that prevails? Or you're the king of nothingness? Where even the gods must hail! When you will come to take me , Dry my mother's tears. Tell her that I've fought for her, But I never knew that the end was this near. Please tell my father , I think he's the best dad. But I never had a chance to say I know he won't let me go with you. But I suppose it is time to split ways. So, Death, even if you are the monster of my dreams, Take me with you. For much of my life, I've been surrounded by monsters. And I am sure I've been one too!
