I'm the person to say what everyone else is thinking. the ones that only show up when theres cameras or when people are mentioned thats when they come around let's stop pretending they didn't just fail their kids, they failed their grandchildren, too! Even when they had a million chances to make it better they chose not to. grandchildren aren't something to brag about when you aren't even in the picture. if you can't bother to show up during the hard times don't expect to be honored, included, or respected. you don't get to choose when to be absent, nor present. so don't expect to be loved the same as someone who was present.
