My cravings were not for this pain to taste Bitterness of this life got me puking the hate Faith died and patience gone, not my soul'll escape Depression glued to my life Ugly memories too sticky in my mind This was a spine for war, but they took turns stabbing my back To unlock this trust it'll be a hard nut to crack To be happy it'll take hell to be cold Not sight for sunrising Others digging for coal, ending up finding the gold Where's my lucky day hiding Stuck with this difficult level of this life game of chess Obstacles always checkmate me Devil prolly mouthing 'Cheers to this curse' My heart is a puppet My brain and feelings they play me I painted my thoughts dark for so long As I'm disposing these dead paint brushes Watching my bed of roses burn to ashes It was a blinder
