A worthless find, My mind unwinds, Stories unravel, In the midst of time, Why do we bind, Yet so unkind, In a world of the broken, And of the blind, Fear the Requiem, A nasty taste, A broken heart, So deeply misplaced, A danger lurking, It has no grace, A silent sorrow, Within this dead place, Beyond the misery, And the disgraced, A hopeless memory, So vastly outpaced, I see the dark, With venom it's laced, A sneer so violent, Upon your dead face
