Dead Before This

Physically  I’m alive And healthy  But ever since that night  A part of me died, Drowned and never resurfaced, Was eaten and never spit up, Lost too much blood that the hospital  Couldn't save it, Buried 6 feet under and can’t crawl out That part of me That died  Will probably never see  The light of day  It’s been gone Since I was 12 Maybe even before that
