Day—Night, lose sight.
Day and night, children singing Cheering, jingling, ring-ting-tingling How lovely, Christmas carols. Stones align with empty barrels. The rocks and water, the lights and trees, snow on grass, and frosty leaves. Not much can be said, but the joy this season brings, for every year the bells come, sleighing with rings. Not only rings, that's not all. Later, there's a ball. A ball, with people, dancing under the moon. Dresses and suites they wore, singing around the frozen pool. Not many speak of the goat in the mountains, or the dark roses beside the water fountains. But each wish, you get one. One wish, and it's done. The process begins, midnight and noon, only then will your white rose grow and bloom. Be grateful, they said—that was months ago. It's time for an ice show, as it's beginning to snow. But a few months ago, did we rush? Easter was forgotten. The bunnies and the eggs, had we known it had been coming? Did we skip it, yet again? It needs to end, it needs to end. We're forgetting these days. People are losing their sense of gratefulness. Skipping the days, then, and then, nothing. Just nothing. Nothing, yet again.
