Daylight's End (Part 2 of 2)
Now, to your mind this picture must not be getting clearer. But you should see that, to a human, living life should become dearer. Those many stories told of mankind's thirst for life and our frail mortality; our secret wish and fervent prayers to God to live eternally. Yes, all of that, and I also see we ever yearn to Iive a life that's free; free from mundaneness, strife, stress, sickness, pain, poverty, and death, you see. These virtual quests, one can guess, mankind will continue endlessly. But will the light go out at our eternity's end? Or will God insist we must exist and have us continue on? What will humans do out there when everything is gone? What will our descendants do at that far, far end of time? Do you have faith that they will do what they think they must? Or, will there not be an end of time, but just an end for us?
