Daylight
In the depths of despair, I toiled and I cried, Through long, sleepless nights, I struggled and tried. My academics burdened me heavy and tight, But deep in my heart, I held on to the light. I prayed, and begged for relief, To be top of my class, to ease all my grief. And then, in a moment, a miracle occurred, God's answer was swift, His grace reassured. The journey was painful, the path filled with pain, But with faith as my compass, I persevered, I gained. I rose from the ashes, a victor so bright, My title of top 1, a beacon of light. So here I stand, a testament to grace, To the power of prayer, to the strength of my faith. For in the darkest of nights, there shines a ray, And that title of daylight, is mine today.
