Darkness within
Darkness Within In the depths of my depressed soul, where demons dwell, Anxiety consumes me whole, No hope shines through this darkness, it's a never-ending night, Where shadows dance with starkness, stealing away the light. My mind is a battlefield, with thoughts that never rest deep in my soul, The weight upon my tightened chest, a burden that is hard to bear, The world seems to fade away, as I drown in my own sorrow, As I'm left here to decay, without any hope for tomorrow. The demons whisper in my ear, their words like poisoned knives, without an ounce of care, I try to fight against the tide, but it's a never-ending battle that I can't win, So I close my eyes and pray, for a sense of relief, to end this none stop fight, Depression, demons, anxiety, no hope in sight, I am lost in this reality, trapped in eternal night. In the darkness, I begin to reside, consumed by my own doubts of sin. In the depths of my soul, There lies a darkness buried deep,, A shadow that lingers, A weight that consumes my aching soul, it's like a storm, Raging within me, thundering thoughts, lightning strikes of pain, As the light turns to black as the darkness claims my sould to keep.
