darkness inside
In shadows deep, my darkness dwells, A somber tale my heart foretells. With heavy steps, I walk this path, Where sorrow reigns, in aftermath. Beneath the veil of endless night, I yearn for solace, lost from sight. My spirit weeps, consumed by pain, A mournful melody, a haunting refrain. The tears I shed, they stain my soul, A constant ache that takes its toll. In this abyss, I find no light, Only echoes of a shattered fight. Despair engulfs, like a sullen tide, Embracing me, where hope has died. Aching wounds, they bleed unseen, A portrait of sorrow, stark and keen. Yet in this darkness, a flicker glows, A fragile ember, a spark that shows. The strength within, my spirit's plight, To rise again, to reclaim the light. So I shall endure, this tempest's wrath, Embracing sadness along my path. For in my darkness, I'll find my way, To brighter horizons, come what may.
