Darkness Becomes
In shadows deep, where sorrow lies, A bleak melancholy, my heart's demise. A somber symphony, hauntingly sung, Through desolate whispers, the darkness clung. With every breath, a weighty despair, An eternal ache, beyond repair. The moon weeps tears of blackened ink, As loneliness dances, its macabre link. Gloomy clouds veil the starlit sky, As hope's embers fade and slowly die. In the depths of midnight's chilling embrace, Desolation paints its melancholic grace. The void within, a cavern so vast, Where echoes linger from the past. In this desolate realm, time stands still, In the depths of despair, my soul does thrill. Yet amidst the shadows, a flicker of light, A distant glimmer in the endless night. A fragile hope, a spark so frail, To pierce the darkness, unveil the veil. But for now, I dwell in this dismal domain, Where bleak melancholy forever remains. In somber verses, my anguish unfurls, A darkened ode to a sorrowful world.
