Darkness
I curl into a ball, I cannot do today. I want the ground to swallow me up and take me away. It's so dark and gloomy that I am unable to see. I don't know who I am anymore, I can't break free. I feel trapped in a forest, I cannot see the light. Every path I follow, seems to put up a fight. The demons are taking over as they feel all my fears. I can't even see them before me, through all my tears. I need someone to guide me but I am all alone. Everyone left me by myself, on the winds they had flown. My happiness is slipping away, like the tide on a beach. The loneliness takes over, the light is out of reach. But something is inside me doesn't want it to win. It's hanging on by a thread, a hope that is so thin. I'm clinging onto this feeling and hoping one day. That I can exorcise these demons and make them finally go away. By Christine OH
