In this pitch-black corner of the world, I find my sacred refuge, A haven where no judgments linger, Where light is but a forgotten dream, And shadows fade into the depth of night, Only a void of blackness envelops me, Wrapped in a shroud of profound silence. It’s a deafening stillness that weighs heavy, A drowning darkness seeping deep into my soul, Yet within its grasp lies a strange serenity, A tranquil peace that cradles my weary heart. My voice, a captive, quivers in my throat, Trapped within the confines of this silence, As I gaze into the boundless abyss, And the abyss, with a knowing stare, Reflects the depths of my own trembling existence. Here, time ceases to hold its cruel grip, Each second stretches, an endless thread, Woven into the fabric of my solitude, And in this stillness, I confront my fears, The echoes of regrets and unspoken dreams.
