Dark Thoughts
It's about that heavy feeling inside when you're down: Heavy heart, a silent weight, Crushes the joy, seals the gate. Darkness lingers, shadows creep, While the world's in slumber deep. Voices whisper, soft and low, "Do this, do that," but where to go? Fear holds me tight, I cannot see, Just endless night surrounding me. I reach for help, but find no hand, Alone I stand in this dark land. No friendly face, no words of cheer, Just empty space, and rising fear.
