Dark Skies
In shadows deep, the end shall creep, No more to sleep, but to forever weep. Dusk's embrace, the final trace, The human race, now lost in space. Stars descend, a cosmic blend, The world we mend, may truly transcend. Silent fears, aftershocks of tears, Through passing years, time disappears. Whispers flee, oh mystery, Answers we plea, within history. Hope demise, beneath dark skies, Truth unburies, as the end belies. Love's last touch, as seasons clutch, Hearts in a rush, life's final hush. World's collide, in destiny's tide, Faith and pride, now side by side. Harmony's fall, a mournful call, As curtains draw, the final enthrall. No doubt, we find, in moments unkind, The end of mankind, forever defined.
