Dark side
In the shadows of my mind, A storm brews wild and unkind. Behind my smile, there's endless night, Where demons dance, far from sight. Anger, fear, and bitter pride, A man of peace, but torn inside. I fight the dark, but every day, It whispers low, won’t go away. The mask I wear begins to slip, I feel the darkness' iron grip. It pulls me down, a heavy weight, A constant battle with my fate. A fractured soul, never whole, Walking edges, losing control. I stand in light, yet know too well— The dark side is where I dwell.
