Dark Days
I fall victim to the calming silence of the night wondering if you are also looking up at the stars right now as I? Pictures flash of memories, NO MORE! I crawl deeper inside my mind, to shadow and dust. No other can creep behind ... I DIE! Swallow a pill bottle whole; I can't handle what has been told ... NO MORE! Reminiscing predicts scabs. Trials and tribulations, creating more emotions and feelings. Life isn't supposed to be this way supposed to want to wake up and see another day. Not confronting your fears in the cold and grey, wake up in sweat, damn near in tears complacent, NO; happy ... never! I'll slit my wrists with my lover's dagger. My eyes are close now, in life's final chapter.
