Dark Angel.
I haunt the night To protect the light I give you peace to sleep By making evil ones weep I can feel your doubt Go on let it out You ask,"Why are people stabbed And minors kidnapped?" What if I tell you it could be worse? What if living could feel like a curse? What if you had to sleep at five Just so tomorrow meets you alive? What if your nights were filled with screams? What if your neighbors' blood flowed in streams? Crimson stickiness filling your room Making you resigned to your pending doom Screeches filling the air And the scent of blood everywhere Have you heard of Hitler And the killer called Dahmer? What if I said those two Are the least lethal of evil's crew? I deal with the dangerous ones So you'll smile when tomorrow comes I make you await a happy morning And not a day full of mourning Some call me a disease To some I exist to bring mothers to their knees I am humanity's knight in bloody armor And I'll prevent tragedies like I've done before I end evil before it begins I let you know what joy means I've saved humanity from many a storm But they know me as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
