Dansemacabre
At the end of time, as the world crumbles beneath us, and the sky weeps fire above, when demons invade, let them claw for the heavens, pray to its ruler for passage. At the place where immortals flee, we will dance beneath an unyielding rain, so the sun, the moon, and all celestial bodies stand still— their light a stage, a spotlight just for us. Let them witness our blinding smiles, hear our laughter ring, sweet as the chime of a bell. We stomp and spin, bare feet sinking into the drenched earth, the scent of petrichor clinging like a lover’s whisper. Mud flies in every direction, as we drown the storm with joy. Volcanoes turn to silence, as angels hum our names into the dying wind.
