Dandelions I Wish
Flowers whisk away on a gentle breeze, The fading silhouette of you and me. The humming of birds softly singing, Laughter of children, as carefree as love. Long fields of dandelions, dreams people hold on to, I wander through the shadows of buildings, A wind tousling my hair— Until I found the purpose of wishing, Gazing into your eyes. Skimming down the stairs, My heart bloomed the moment I saw you, A dimpled smile that shines. They say love is blind, but I see only you— A fate I cannot ignore. To the love that's meant to be, But the distance between us is just a line— A line we cannot cross. May you never glimpse these hidden feelings. Can it not be love, just this once? Why does your presence linger in my mind? Why can't I stop, even for one second? Is it your smile that stays with me, Or your kindness that leaves me feeling naive? You treat me as a lady, And oh, I wish to be with you. With the dandelions, I wish it true.
