Dancing Shadows
Here I jump, here I skip, oh what a wicked delight No one can see me, nobody cares, but when the darkness takes flight Everyone stares, some scream with glee Seeing the shadows dance within me, Some are innocent, with eyes filled with glee for They see my playful side, and join in the night, Can't you see the moonlight smile on my face? A reflection of the joy I find in this wicked place By day, I'm hidden, a whispered secret kept But under moonbeams, my true self wept When the stars align, hear my haunting cry As I waltz with shadows, in this haunted shade longing to play for one more night.
