Dancing alone, together
Between the distance, where echos fade, our silent whispers intertwine. The whispers turn into voices, laughter, singing. With singing comes music and dancing. So we dance. We dance alone, together. The music becomes louder, faster, better and so does our dancing. It seems the more we get into it the closer it feels, the more real it gets, the better it becomes. So we dance. We dance alone, together. As the rhythm fills the empty void around us, the feeling of eachother takes shape on our skin. Gripping the air tightly, we move fast and fluid. The more we hold, the more the feeling lingers. So we dance. We dance alone, together. And when the song fades, and the dance ends. Were alone again. Alone, in our rooms, wishing it was you, wishing it was me. Just the wish isn't enough, so we dance. We dance alone, together. Wishing, just once, we danced together, alone.
