Dad
In quiet strength, he held us near, A guiding light, forever clear. With hands worn gentle, heart so wide, He built a world where love could hide. Each morning rose with his warm smile, He’d walk with us each extra mile. Through storms and sun, he stood so tall— A silent hero through it all. He taught us joy in little things: A shared meal, the peace a sunrise brings. He’d laugh with us, and in his eyes, We saw our dreams, we touched the skies. He worked so hard, yet never said How much he gave, the tears he shed. But we all knew—without a doubt— He was the soul we spoke about. Our hearts were safe within his care, A home was more because he was there. He made sure every day was bright, With kindness, wisdom, quiet might. Now though he’s gone, his love remains, It lingers sweet like gentle rains. In every hug, in every cheer, We feel our dada always near. So thank you, Dada, for all you gave, For the life you built, so true, so brave. We carry you in all we do— Our joy, our love, begins with you.
