Cycle
With a goal to aim, I begin to chase For the hope, and the will to change But, I was on life’s hamster wheel Thus trying was no steal Nonetheless, I fight for my liberty Myself as a weapon for the struggles With me, the enemy in the empty aviary Eating myself away, like an ouroboros And how history rhymes With the bitter memories Repeating, Repeated, Repeatedly Like I lived for the cycle endlessly Still with hope and the goal in mind I won’t stop, so I do the grind But the troubles just grew and grew Thus my work did not meet the due That won’t stop the war in my mind Slaying the thoughts in my mind Leaving remnants of what’s left But it isn’t even over yet
