"Cupid, Disarmed"
The girl I love is the one who avoids me; The girl who loves me is the one I avoid. And when I decide to commit to the one who wants me, She starts avoiding me, And the one who avoided me starts wanting me. For this reason, I no longer believe in love. Those who don’t know how to appreciate it meet it every day, But those who truly need it receive nothing — And this, every single day. I try to carry a message, piled with judgments against myself, Believing I am a poet Who perfectly describes what he never gets the chance to grasp In this damned reality: A sincere love that does not crumble at the peak of its glory. A black poet, Black like an absence of love Manifesting in Cupid’s heart After breaking all his arrows For lack of a target. Tensai
