Crushed spirit, a broken heart, Failure that stings as it rips me apart, Emotions that are running high, Disappointment that lingers inside, Shattered heart, a broken dream, Tears spill over like a high rising stream, Hope fades into an endless night, Darkness replaces all lifes delight, Aching emotions, a heavy weight, Lonliness lingers with no escape, Life is one scary path to walk alone, Forever hollow as my soul turns to stone, Depression is a burden that is so heavy, It is dragging me down as i feel unsteady, Sense of sadness that is felt deep within, A battle that is made so that i cannot win, In moments of despair i often find, Depression and anxiety they hijack my mind, Gripping onto me as they tighten their hold, Leaving me to shiver, crushed body in the cold, Trying to fight against the rushing tide, Demons are coming there is nowhere to hide, Overwhelming sense of soul eating dread, Unwanted thoghts that is filling up my head.
