Crown of sand
There walks a periah Through twilight sands Who wonders Their robe reels and spells forth A ghastly form A totem But once they were praised For they were once Themself whole Chorus spoke an old tune That sang the end Of beauty But beauty thrives, Will not die, Goes forth empty So crowns fall asleep Like earths nobles Alone waits See the walk of the unique With all solemn To nothing After years, they emerge Just like before Remaining With crowns of sand Upon their minds Still waiting
