Crave of Love
Was a decision of such division, Between the heart and a bright ambition, Twixt having to choose between love and a career, A dilemma so entrenched in fear. To desire a love so deep, Holding hands and arms so steep, Merely wishing on a lovers embrace, A want too ardent to replace. To think of a love so bad, A throb at the heart is what I had, Thoughts of both fill my mind, Whether I try to leave them behind. To have a career so rewarding, To pursue all that I'm adoring, Seems so much more compelling, Though it does not heal that li'l sting. An unpredicted future unknown, My heart is too heavy and full of woe, Feeling I'll never get that ever longed love, But instead focusing solely on my career up above.
