So I felt , I feel , I broke But guess what ? I'm still fire I learned the hard way that love burns I guess I'm the flame that stays lit He came when I stopped caring It was like the universe said let's give her a plot twist And maybe I liked it The chaos , The calm The way he didn't flinch When I threw my attitude around like a shade I still don't trust love But I trust my vibe I walk in with soft eyes , dangerous smile I think my expression says " Try me but don't waste my time " He calls me trouble I call it honesty Maybe because I was Or because I wanted to believe I could still be someone's good chaos The walls I built didn't fall They just cracked enough for light to find it's way through His words calm His presence quieter than I expected I told myself not to fall I fell and falling felt like landing Maybe love isn't always fire and pain Maybe it's a slow burn Steady warmth that doesn't demand just stays I won't call it fate I'll call it timing My heart stopped running and whispered " I'll stay "
