Corroded Hearts
Denizens roam abroad like travelers lost, changing their face no matter the cost. preaching of truth while they poison with lies, wearing white mask to cover the disguise. oh multitudes! switching mask depending on convenience. Gossips has bloomed like a fashionable trend, Breaking a bonds just to strengthen a friend. sweetest are their words when they need your hand, Then leave you alone like dust in the sand. And when guilt eats the innocent The guilty sleeps proudly. Christians in name , empty in heart, Acting holy as a performance Art. Hollow within while drowing in sin. Lukewarm in faith , yet loud in acclaim , Denizens using God's name for glory and fame, Running a soul without shame. where is the fear that once shook our bones? where are the heart of mortals - not stone? How I wish I could erase for the faith had died in a false grace. Dirt will judge these words I boldly impart for the truth still stands when the false depart . let them- I refuse to cage. wake up and see His light that ignites His truth always rise bright.
