Cop What You Feel
We are ours Personified cars Blowing the stops Running from our cops So fast through these times Our eyes can't read the roadway signs Our clepsydra's water does, away wane Perpetual, it runs from us, down the drain No matter, we grasp, but it never lingers These sands, this time, slips, it's through our fingers One of these days our ones will see our clock It's hands lie motionless, they'll stop Never will be forgotten, the times in our laughs Revisited to reflect upon words, wisdom in our epitaphs We only have so much sands in succession To make our impact's, outlined impression What will you do to carve into the bark The tree of your life, as it leaves Your mark
