constant
like waves crashing against the shoreline, like a wheel spinning down a decline, like a pattern repeating no matter the design, like when you're speeding aware that you'll get a fine, like trivial to days passing the sun continues to shine, like when you're counting after eight comes nine, like when you're reading there's usually a storyline, like an alcoholic relapsing perhaps on a glass of wine, when I am loving a girl, I miss every sign as to why I shouldn't, or I could but the one that'll receive the collateral damage will be myself. I set myself up for failure whether it's through rejection or a mistake in a relationship or just plain out choosing the wrong person to spend my time and energy on.
