Connected

One day, i let loose Brought you close Thought nothing to lose days went by i stick with you get closer and closer i find that im into you i connected and talked for months and months confessed, felt lost connected for truth days on end i try again succeeded, until you left again years go by still remembering the tears in my eyes but you never truly left my mind i reach out again we connect i understand now i never knew our connection it wasn't a loss just a misconception lost in the status quo faced with rejection you weren't ready nor was i but now we're back. Doesn't matter what more or not we're connected it's not all for nought
