Confined Echoes
In the quiet confines of my dwelling's dome, I dwell alone, feeling trapped, a soul forlorn. Walls, like sentinels, stand firm, a prison tall, Yet within their grasp, my spirit starts to fall. Each day, a replay of the same routine, A life once vibrant, now a muted screen. Windows, though they frame the world outside, Can't break the chains of this emotional tide. I long to roam beneath the open sky, To spread my wings, to reach for dreams up high. But within these walls, my heart's confined, Yearning for freedom, a life redefined. Yet in this stillness, I find moments too, A chance to reflect, to uncover what's true. Within these walls, there's strength to be found, A sanctuary for thoughts, where hopes abound. So, though I feel trapped, I'll persevere, Seeking solace in solitude, no fear. For even within these four walls so near, I'll find the key to set my spirit clear.
