Comfort in the Wind
There’s comfort in the wind, a whisper soft, That carries the words I long to hear. It wraps around me, gentle and aloft, A soothing presence, ever near. When the world feels heavy and my heart weighs down, I step outside to meet the breeze. It lifts my worries, sweeps away the frown, With a tender touch that puts me at ease. The wind knows secrets I dare not speak, It hears the sighs that escape my lips. In its embrace, I feel less weak, As it brushes past like a fleeting kiss. It dances through the trees, a melody light, A song of solace only I can know. In its rhythm, I find my might, As it carries my burdens, letting them go. So when I’m lost, when I need a friend, I seek the comfort that the wind can lend. It whispers to me, “You’re not alone,” In every gust, I find my home.
