Come, Let's Go Home
You meet an interviewer; He is clad in blue pants, Bow-neck tie and a mic All smiles like the penguin With teeth transfixed in awe And then he asks; friend what's G? You set your self off like the giraffe surveying t make self sure And then oo oops One named "let's thank the lord" Dances his eyes around; G is protector, G is planner G is comforter Wow I love my G! You pierce toward the jolly one His appearance convincing; dogs surrounding him Eye tight lest he loses his pants His shopping bag is brand new Added to one for his dogs You ask yourself What's G! The interviewer well braced His smile like a portrait smile Turns around, his feet unlucky: Smash into the inyuungu hole Caressed by nature on the road He growls around, like a dog bitten His mike on the ground one Visibly irritated, what's G! (on the street are few posh machines, added to seketon figures of houses and people) He fidgets himself up and then in self pretence looks for the mic, and then in drammatic reversal the interviewee has it in hand, and he asks the interviewer; "friend what is G?" Time for a short break, let's go home (they pretend in suits but all is not well) Jonah Brian Wepukhulu (Uganda)
