Color
She was a rainbow but he was color blind. caught between a strong mind and fragile heart. she now is half sunshine and half a grave she told herself people come and go but some are cigarette breaks, others are forest fires. i think we might have romanticized what was never real just an image of what we wished it was maybe we took an arrow to an invisible target and struck it with a love too strong to keep the fabric bonded in the realm of hardships, a resilient soul a dagger of relentless grief a beautiful smile hiding broken thoughts pretending to be at peace
