Collapsed steps
if every step I took was worth 5 miles I'd use this curse soon to be chance to get away from you, even though I know I'd just walk back to you, the farther I am from you the safer I am from getting hit in the face for laughing at an unfunny joke or getting yelled at for hanging out with others, cause the truth is within your fingers holds sharp prices of glass left from your heart that I can't fox nor can I savor the pieces cause the harder I try so keep on putting them back together the pile falls over and I see the same stack of a broken heart every time I try, I take credit for the hard work of putting back together your broken heart just to see it collapse, it's not because of heartbreak it's not because of trauma its because of your stupid head and how your reputation matters the most, thx for years of dead ends and a never ending maze I had to leave.
